The Pinnacle&Co. Story
Phillippa Jacobs-Lory started Pinnacle Design Limited in 1997 with just one goal – ‘to provide wonderful websites, graphic design, signage, advertising, and marketing material to local businesses.’ That strategy worked, and since then, the business has grown and grown. In 2017, Pinnacle Design morphed into Pinnacle&Co. – the name change emphasising the way we partner with our clients in a smart, strategic way. We work as a seamless extension of your team to plan, create and implement proactive marketing strategies that keep you at the top of your industry.

Business Chicks and Business Brains
Since 2004, Phillippa has been the Chair of Business Chicks, a networking group that enables women in business to help each other succeed by sharing their knowledge and experience in a supportive environment.
Business Brains is a marketing group that gets together once a month to help members stay up to date with all things marketing. Phillippa has been Chairing this group since 2005.
Memberships
Zonta & Z Club
Phillippa believes it’s vital to stand up for women in New Zealand and around the world who can’t do so for themselves. That’s why she’s been a member of Zonta since 2006.
Zonta is an international organisation dedicated to building a better world for women and girls with fundraising, supporting charities and supporting each other. Phillippa has been president of her Christchurch Zonta Club, president of the Zonta youth wing ‘Z Club New Zealand’, and was Chair of Z Club Christchurch-Canterbury for 12 years, based at Avonside Girls’ High School. Phillippa has also held the roles of Area 3 Director (Canterbury/Marlborough), International Committee for Z Club and Golden Z Club, Lieutenant Governor for 2020-2022 and now holds the current position of Zonta New Zealand’s Governor for 2022-2024 and is a member of the worldwide board.
On International Women’s Day, March 8th 2016, Phillippa won a Zonta New Zealand 50 Women of Achievement Award. Phillippa shares this honour with Dame Silvia Cartwright, Helen Clark, Louise Nicholas, and other notable women who have focused their passion drive and valued time into pursuing a better place for us to live.
Business Networking International (BNI)
BNI’s catch-phrase ‘Givers Gain’ sums up Phillippa’s attitude to business. It’s all about building relationships, exchanging referrals, and supporting the local community. Phillippa has been an enthusiastic member of BNI chapters in Christchurch since 2004, and is currently active in fundraising for Nurse Maude Hospice.
